Since last week I noticed my debit card was acting "funny", the pin number kept "resetting" and I had to go to the branch 3 times. And I noticed that everytime I used an ATM in the ESSO station where gas up my car my card was getting "reseted".
Well... after few trips to the bank...resulta que in that Gas station the ATM was compromised and they got my car info but not my PIN therefore everytime they attemped to use my card it was getting locked...5 coworkers experinced the same...all of us were clients of the same gas station.
I changed Debit Card and Pin number....Heads up guys...
Pssstt... Maybe you also needed to change Gas Stations?
"reseted" = reset

Something like this happened to us a few months ago. We were alerted by our bank of a possible card clone. We were advised to come in and get a new one and change our PIN #, then they decreased our weekly withdrawal limit to 250. Gee, thanks!
I had the experience with my credit card. If they swipe your card more than once, there is the chance your info can be stolen. They made charges up to $4,000. The credit card company called me at home to let me know.
