Fui yo quien tuvo que hablar con Marcelo Ruiz para que nos diera la oportunidad en el festival de Christie park. Y asi sucedieron muchas cosas mas en la que yo les ayude mientras era corista de ellos. En aquellos tiempos Joe no estaba con la banda tengo las fotos para probarlo. Despues ayude a Joselo Severino a formar la banda Los Bichanes del Merengue y solo llegue a cantar un concierto con ellos y despues decidi salir por mi cuenta. Y si miras la historia de muchos artistas locales con muchos he trabajado de una forma u otra pero la gente no sabe eso. Por ejemplo Alberto Alberto gran cantante Cubano una de sus primeras presentaciones fue conmigo en mi banda. Y cuidado si este no fue su primera en Toronto tengo los videos para probarlo. El pianista de Dominicanada y que ahora toca con Evolixion en Bachata Isaac nadie le daba chance y sin embargo le di la oportunidad de tocar conmigo. El guirero de Extasis Ambiorix nadie le daba chance pero yo lo introduje a la musica con mi banda. Los Colombianos Mahecha que vinieron a cantarle al PAPA empezaron a tocar en Toronto con mi banda. Alex Christian el Ecuatoriano de Tumbao cantaba para mi cuando nadie le habia dado el chance. El Chileno que toca guitarra para Evoluxion cantaba conmigo como corista de la banda mia al igual que su amigo Christian. He trabajado con Ricky Franco y el tambien ha tocado con mi banda yo se que el tambien ayuda mucho a los locales. Siempre he sido un vocero abierto a que se les pague mejor a los musicos. Propongo a que los musicos se unan para hacerle un boicot a los organizadores de eventos a que por cada banda internacional que se presente en un evento u festival que le den la oprtunidad a uno o dos artistas locales y que se les pague mejor. Porque hay que darle preferencia en la radio a los de fuera cuando los de adentro lo necesitamos mas. En Miami siempre que se hace un evento le dan chance a los locales. El 5 de Mayo se va a llevar a cabo un evento de Telemundo en Fort Myers Florida y al conversar con ellos dicen que primero tienen que mirar que numero de artistas locales y nacionales que ellos van a llevar y que luego van a ver cuantos de fuera pueden entrar. Porque no hacer lo mismo aqui TLN en su festival pone a uno o dos locales a tocar pero los pone a tocar cuando las gradas estan vacias y hay poca gente que los vea. so if I haven't contributed anything check the video @ www.magiaradio.com and see what I have done at the Canadian level or do u want me to go on writing. And they are much more talented than u... dont get me wrong... if i spent the money u do on your music recordings im sure anyone would do the same...i guess u have some musical background. invest in some vocal coaching .. serious..and how come u have trouble hiring musicians? $50 - $80 hell man no wonder. well u just lost a chance to have musicians play in this foro to play for u that's for sure... Juanito, one thing you have to realize is that you have to listen to those people that point out the bad as well. I know it'll piss you off, but you do have to listen to them because they're giving you their unbiased opinion. You can't just listen to people who say que les gusta un monton what you're doing, o que "le encantó." People will tell you that, even it it's bad, because they know you and don't want to hurt your feelings. So leave your emotions aside un poquito and see what people are saying, how many people are saying it and whether what their saying has any validity at all. YEA FITO WAS ON TV, BIG WHOOPEE, CARLOS CRUZ WAS ON SABADO GIGANTE BIG WHOOPPEEE BUT GUESS WHAT WHEN THIS GUYS RECORD THERE ALBUM THE FIRST PPL TO GET IT IS THERE CITY NOT THE USA BUT TORONTO... THAT WHAT I CALL DEDICATION FROM AN ARTIST TO HIS COMMUNITY.......

AND GUESS WHAT ONE OTHER THING MOST OF THESE OF THESE ARTIST LOVE TO PERFORM FOR THERE CITY ANYTIME........GIVEN WEHRE THEY ARE!!!!!

How does the guy know he had your vote to loose it now anyways. how many of his cd's did you buy in the past. Give me a break so others can leave and come back but he can't what is that girl. How many of his shows did you see or pay to go see I mean did you truly support the guy.

All of them leave and come backl where do you think they record their music. I mean I saw fito on t.v. He was in the US and don't tell that if any of these guys get a break elsewhere they wont take it.

I agree with your statements, there is more than enough talents in TO, seems like you were one of those, if "G" hasn't call you, "NOW WE WONDER WHY...." or let me rephrase that " NOW WE KNOW WHY...." you sound like you are bitter about your bad musical experience...
as for Ojitos lindos, he needs to improve, I honestly don't think he's got the voice to sing...but good luck to him, (hey ojitos lindos, I'm just stating my point of view here, whether you like it or not.... I won't chance my mind.)
in the other hand, some singers/musicians are good just at writing songs than singing them,...lets not mention any names pls!
"Alex bello" a wanna be, hey! the guy is trying, at least he is coming out with his own cd... seems like people like his music so far....
But The most talented of all is Ricky Franco, pls note that is not my intention to say he's pure talk no action, but he's promising a new album of his own, and everyone has set backs, he'll make it...! he's not only got THA' VOICE, and the talent to write his own music, humble person and the support from the community.

yo le doy mi apoyo a todos aquellos MUSICOS que se han quedado y luchan por cambiar las cosas desde esta mi ciudad TORONTO.

ojale te valla bien es USA y dime si es mas facil poner su single en la radio alla donde existe mas competencia.

confundida tiene razon cuando dice que primero te ganes a tu publico local antes de ir al extranjero.
