As with fish, if you mean several individuals of a single species, then the plural is "jellyfish". If on the other hand, you mean several species, then it is correct to say "jellyfishes".
It wouldn't be wrong to use either term.
If you don't know enough about them why would you touch them since they can kill?
I stepped on one last week by accident and nothing happened, apparently as long as the venom does not go through your pores you are fine, you can touch them with your palms or bottom of your feet and nothing will happen...
Ohh and thanks to the one that killed 7 pounds for me, I just finished downloading it and was about to watch it. I'm thinking about killing Slumdog Millionaire and the Curious Case of Ben Button for everyone now...
Who the hell are you chuck? don't type to me like you know me.

according to National Geographic program....the oceans are being invaded by jellyfishes and they don't know why they are reproducing so fast
Box jellyfish is considered the most venomous marine creature
Apparently, they are pretty dangerous since their tentacles or legs killllll u
Great another thing to worry about!
yes that is true. they live in indonesia or the philipines if im correct also there is another type of jellyfish which is harmless. i don't recall the name.
I was watching a documentary the other day, and they were saying the same about giant squids. Not only are they invading the oceans, but, aparently, they are incredibly smart
