Although I enjoy traveling solo as much as I do traveling with others, traveling solo to an all inclusive holds little appeal. When I travel alone, I prefer to go to far more interesting places.
just came back from Cayo Santa Maria (beautiful place btw) and most of the ppl that were there on their own looked like freaks, men and women, no offense to anyone...
i agree...looked like lots of fun for the singles that I saw last week. They were all drunk and hooking up, and best thing being "what happens in varadero, stays in varadero"
I wouldn't CHOOSE to vacation by myself, but I wouldn't be uncomfortable if I HAD to. And it would be better than not vacationing at all, I guess. It's not that hard to meet new people at a resort. Everyone is in a very friendly mood

I do backpacking trips alone from time to time and those are great cause you get to meet people on the journey..but and all inclusive is something that I would only do it with my girlfriend, family, friends, and most people tend to go in froups and stick together. Being lonely in a dining table...seems a bit depressive to me. But you might think different.

How comfortable would you feel vacationing alone in an all inclusive?
My friend just came back from Dominican Rep and she said it was pretty good. With people's schedule it's pretty hard so she had no choice but to go alone. She slept with two lights on lol
