I have relatives who live South of St. Clair also - they had to go over to their son's house so the wouldn't freeze to death... SUCKERS!!!!

ashamed

Heat in my appartment seems to be very high and I am alright - the only thing that seems to be cold is the floor; but wearing slippers solves the problem. hmm

I don't hate the cold as much as I hate the friggin snow!!!
If you're cold, you can wear an extra sweater, socks, long johns, etc. The snow... there's just no way around it.

latina, if your furnace is struggling, change the filter. Mine was also struggling on the very cold days. Was just about to call a technician, when I thought about the filter. I replaced it and problem solved!
