Hi Marilyn....I posted the MAY events yesterday (april 18) but because no one has commented on that thread, it was bumped down. Soon enough TH admin will notice and make it a sticky like the other ones. I try to update them as soon as people PM me with their upcoming events and adjustments.

Hey Chilenito,

The word "ugumoot" I sure don't know what the hell it means...but we use it in my cirlce of friends as an anything word..lol

I was playing scrabble on my handheld palm pilot with my little brother and with the only letters I had left to make a word, I managed to come out with "ugumoot". I was sure that the computer was gonna make my ass lose, but God only knows why it accepted it as a valid word...LOL. I tried doing research on that word but didn't come up with anything..lol. So I just use "ugumoot" for anything..lol

I'm working on 2 separate projects...one bachata and the other R&B...both will be in spanish with some anglo in it for mis amigos gringitos..lol. I like to keep the element of surprise on what I have comin out...

Oye...are you ready for the game between Las Chivas (Mexico) VS Cobreloa (Chile) for la copa Libertadores?

Thousands pray for Yoskar at concert

I was naive to think that Yoskar Sarante was going to be present at the NYC bachata event,Area 809 El concierto.Merengue phenomenon, El Jeffrey led the audience to a 10 second prayer for Mr. Sarante's health. At first people felt a little odd at the request of praying at a concert, but El Jeffrey's dead-serious tone gained everyone's compliance.

El Jeffrey ended the prayer by saying:" Yo se que papa dios le var dar la salud a Yoskar"

relax band leader he really has aids and that is important for the public to know this information so that people are aware of his condition. Don’t turn the blind eye to aids its real and out there. The whole Dominican republic and new york know of this his latest album was to be his last album listen to the song QUE VIVER!! Magic Johnson has aids to and he is still out and about doing interview and spreading the word that aids can get anyone. I find you to be very ignorant to the fact that spread the word on aids awareness offends you. What a shame!

It's too bad that none of the Toronto promoters are bringing Yoskar Sarante here. I saw him live a couple of years ago and he is one of the best live singers I've ever heard.

Didn't Caballero Sports Club, at one time, bring talent to both Toronto and Montreal at the same time (ie Friday in T.O./Saturday in MTL)? What happened? Isn't there a demand for international Bachata and Merengue talent in Toronto?
