Hola Hugo,

get an FTA receiver and use it for DishNetwork. You'll need a dish or 2 to pick up dishnet's two main signals...110 and 119. Any satellite shop will have the equipment to get you started.

get a VIEWSAT receiver...it is a good brand that seems to have good support.

There are a few shops on the north side of Matheson blvd, just west of Dixie in Mississauga that sell everything you need. Alternitively, you can try the VisionPlus shop in Mississauga, near 403 and Dundas. The guy working there is pretty cool and i've seen him guiding people through the programming process to fix the receiver when it goes down. The prices are competitive with the guys from Matheson.

and most importantly, remember that FTA (dishnet) is a great perk, when its up and working its amazing, but when its down, its nice to have a back up plan to get you through the outage.

There is many places u can get an FTA here in canada and I'm sure some1 u know might know of some1 that can install it for u.

if the signal goes down u can take to some1 to reprogram ur receiver or u can do it urself, all the info u need is on the net, u just have to look for it and read.

nope, i haven't heard of anything about the dishes being regulated.

do u wanted it on ur tv or on ur computer?

if u wanted it on ur TV just get an FTA i think is about $400 - $500 to get it installed, but u get all the channels u want and watch everything for free, I have this and havent had cable for about 3 years now, its gr8!

if u wanted it on ur computer, there is sites that stream the game live, u just have to look for them... I do this when they change the FTA goes down or they change the signal of the chanel.

Does anyone know? With Copa Libertadores about to start, and the U-20 qualifying, I need to get it quick!

I know there are some people that get their US relatives to buy the receiver for them and then install them here in Canada or something like that. Rogers and Bell won't get it because they get Fox Sports Canada, or maybe through FTA TV in your comp, there is also Next TV, who is planning to get it but don't have the rights yet... If you know of a reliable way of getting it please post it here or PM me please smile
