For me it would be a bonus if a guy has a car! Of course hoping that they are not broke, unemployed etc... Un vago sin nada, is not worth it!! I was dating a guy who had a cheap car, but was in school. He was doing something for himself and of course couldn't aford a new car. It didn't matter to me, because i knew he had better things to spend his money on. You can't always be too materialistic!
Yeah taking a cab or bus is really not that bad... its not worth losing somone you care about because they dont have a car... of course it would be a plus if they did but its not a life or death matter in my eyes
My old girlfriend used to drive me, she didn't mind picking me up and dropping me off. That was when I was still in university. I don't drive now because I live and work downtown, my current girlfriend doesn't mind hoping on the bus/subway every now and then, but when we go out we'll take a cab (yeee... I can afford them now).
I drive a 1993 MAzda Cronos 626, still in good condition. It looks cool, at nigth looks better haha. I've been driving for more than 13 years. It wasn''t difficult to pass a driver test, and there was only one test for one licence, that was it. Insurance was high for new drivers but prices were not as high as they are now. It's hard to be young and a driver these days I can see. In the older days, driving wasn't such a big deal as it seems it now is.
One question, how attractive am I by driving this car??, does it really matter?, I guess it does.

I dont have my own car i share with my mother so i understand that its hard to own a car.. I dont think my boyfriend not having a car would make me leave him i just think it would be nice if both of us had some sort of access to a vehicle.. but if the man was really special and we both didint have cars we would find a way.. but my boyfriend has a car so Im good!

Driving is so important, so much more convenient and relieable than a bus. I couldn't imagine my self without a car (omg please don't think I am spoiled eheh). Busses take FOREVER and they are soooo filthy , creapy ppl in there too (not so safe).
BUt I wouldn't mind a boyfriend who doesn't drive (it would be pain in A$$, since I don;t have a car on my own. I share with my sis), but he'd learn
Well, If I really like someone I don't really care if he has a car or not. I'll give you an example my ex who I was with for a VERY long time used to help his mom pay for a house and support two younger siblings. He was also putting himself through school and working a FULL time evening shift. So in my eyes this was a WONDERFUL man and I did not care that he could not afford to buy himself a car and pay for insurance. The type of man he was is what attracted me to him. At the time I did not drive. I was in love and could care less if I was on the bus or not. This nice story came to an end for reasons that had nothing to do with money .....ja ja ja but the point is if you REALLY like someone it should not matter.
I know some real a$$holes that drive NICE cars...

I think that now & days Most women drive or should drive in my eyes.......not just for luxury but for comfort & convenience, plus it's safer then the bus.......in my opinion.
Men.......it's a MUST !!!.
