That was one BIG couch blankstare.gif

When I used to go, I used to go a lot to Value Village (when it just opened). You could get wicked jackets for 5-7 bucks. Then they got the hang of it, and you would pay no less than 30-40 for a nice one hmm.gif. I went a couple of times to Kensington, but just by passing. I didn't shop, but there was a lot of really nice stuff.
The best ones -that Iiiii have been to- were in Ottawa. Expensive though

I was joking about the "dead" people clothes....I just bug her.

I remember going w/ my friend years ago and there was a section of donated brand new clothes w/ the ticket on them from the "Gap store" and a lot of really nice jackets.

I think it also depends on the area these stores are located in?  In Avenue Rd area/ Bathurst area, clothes look a lot nicer.

While ago I found a Brand new Vingtage Original versace dress I used for a photoshoot...

On this shoot everything EVERYTHING is for the thrift store...dress...hat, and Necklaces, the background is a piece of upholstery from a couch I saw in the street...I rip it off right in the spot....biggrin

face paint from the dollar store...

Yes, I have,.. haven't been there in a long time. But as Dogo said , I used to go to look for leather jackets. Once I found a beautiful white off leather jacket (long up to the knee) for $60. I send it to the dry cleaner,. and it looks brand new.

I haven't gone in a loooong time, but I used to quite a bit. I found a lot of really nice vintage jackets (leather and others). Not much else there though. Maybe the odd nice shirt (?)
There are worst things than wearing dead people's clothes (which, BTW, I'm sure most are not actually from dead people. Just stuff left in the atic for a while)

Even after you wash or clean dry the clothes...it can't get rid of elements like blood stains etc.
