Great movie, Jamie Fox did a great impersonation of Ray Charles, but I don't believe he deserved an oscar, Don Cheadle portrayed an inspiring character and im my opinion he should have taken that oscar home unfortunately it became a popularity contest
I think the movie was great overall, but it could of been as good if it was cut half hour or 45 minutes of it. I think it dragged way too long & I personally got bored.
Either way good movie to watch & Jamie Foxx did an amazing job, so well deserved oscar.

I just watched this movie and oh, my God, what a touching story. The music was amazing and the story of this man is just unbelievable. Learning about the lives of such people kind of puts your life into perspective; if a blind man can accomplish so much, why can't we, who have all our senses and are complete, capable human beings do it too? Obviously, not everyone has that amazing talent. That only happens a few times in a generation, but this man is truly inspiring. I liked the fact that they didn't embellish it too much either. The story is pretty raw and true, but it's really inspiring nonetheless. Anyone else seen this? What'd you think?
