Someone mentioned this to me today. Ecuador has just 1 win against Honduras in the last 10 years against 3 Concacaf teams - Mexico, USA and Honduras.
not sure about that but u can't really count the games when they are playing with half the A team and the other half new players that they have called up for the first time.

sorry my mistake someone told me that cevallos was in net ...thats what i get for listening to co-workers like chuck who know squat....anyhow i was viewing it on livescore yesterday and got all happy until they tied ....then another goal last minute ...even worse ....im going to watch the highlights .....regardless do you see what i mean? they always do this ..they win by 1 goal and last minute then mess up....same thing happened with venezuela and with argentina ....

Ok.... so, here it goes, just like Ecuador Mexico played only with Locals.... which you could tell from the start of the game. There was no communication between them... I am so glad that they will have all the Europeans for the game against Honduras....
I agree with some of you, Ecuador did play better than Mexico.... I give you that... Y mexico gano at the last minute so there.... Mexico sucked but they still got the Victory....

a win is a win but Mexico played a really bad game, in the other hand Ecuador play very well defensively with the players they took, offensively is another story tho.

the support from the crowd wont help ecua either since they will be playing in Phoenix .....90% of the crowd will be mexican obviously .....last game was in oakland california same scenario the whole crowd was full of mexicans.....
they should make in neutral next time to have an even fan base .....if the game is in New yawwk jersey chicago or miami ......guaranteed amounts of lots lots of ecuas

well they are not %100 mexican but they do play a lot of mexican shows and soccer, i usually watch the Santos games because one of my fav Ecua player plays there.

nope is not pretextos, is the truth, Ecuador is only going to play with the local players but one that play outside of Ecuador, in the other hand Mexico is playing with most of their main players except for the players from Chivas because they have a game today, this game is more important to Mexico not because they need to win or anything like that but because they have the world cup qualifying games coming up against Honduras....... Ecuador is using this game to see what new players they can call up.
