My kids and i are fine in our little condo for now. I have a great view of the Humber River Arboretum. We've seen deer a few times already.
In the next few years I plan to sell move out of the immediate GTA area.
My dream home is very simple, im not one on wanting to have like 10 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and stuff.
But heck, if someoen wants to give that to me and have me sitting in the lap of luxury, why not?

Kleinburg ?
LOL. U member that.? LOL. Ya Kleinburg would be perfect. Gotta find me a CEO of some big corporation to move me there. LOL.
I live a stone-throw away from Kleinburg, and drive at least once a week through the nice little downtown area. It's beautiful and getting nicer, but you're right, it's impossible to buy anything there. However...... I don't know if you guys are familiar with Nashville? The main intersection in Kleinburg, is Nashville road. You go west, and all the way to hwy 27 is Kleinburg, West of 27 starts Nashville. The first few blocks is super high end homes (in the millions, I'm sure). Past that, are more modest/older/small homes that I'M SURE will be knocked down and have high end homes built by developers. It's very close to Kleinburg, and it has a "country" feel, but you're close to "civilization" I think it's totally being overlooked. Prices are still really affordable (keep in mind the homes are small and modest, but the lots a well above average) and I'm sure it's a great mid term investment. I bet you anything it's going to be the next chic neibourhood, north of Woodbridge, in the next 5-10 years, only second to Kleinburg What's also great is that most of that area is still zoned 'Agricultural' so you have a lot of flexibility if you're intersted in working from home (Including "artist studio", god) or even if you decided, down the road, to build a bigger home, I'm sure you'd have no dificulty with zoning it 'residencial' (many already did that) There are two homes in the area for sale, that I'm always eyeing as I drive by.
That looks great. I've heard of Nashville, ON, just never knew exactly where it was. Kleinburg is beautiful though. Bradford and Inisfill are also areas i may be looking in to as well. Still affordable. Years ago i was looking into King City, but i hear they've hiked up their prices quite a bit and their property taxes are pretty hefty
I lived in King city for couple years and yes it is nice but pricey from there I moved to Aurora....
I lived In Mount Albert and it's relatively close to Bradford...bradford for me is a NONONO...very very white trashy for my lyking....there are lots of portugese people in there and in summer it's full of Mexican workers.
I think King has always been pretty expensive. I don't know about the taxes. Nashville is closer than it sounds (or that I always though it was.. until I moved to where I'm at) It's about 3 mins from my place. You should drive by. It's very nice
