YEAH GOOD FOR THE KID! Glad to see that he knows about her spending habits cause this means he is well read or watches the news. I would make the same comment to her and I think he should get the tour guide in trouble for kicking him out!

LOL, I was driving to work this morning when I first heard about this, of course I thought it was a joke, I started laughing and then realize that it did happened. Get supended for saying what you think??? I thought this was Canada and you could say anything you wanted. I guess not everything.
Anyway afterwards I hear that the kid got an apology from the governor General and that he was invited to drink tea or something next time he was in ottawa.

I heard in the news yesterday that the kid was invited to the GG's house or something along those lines. This is definitely not good P.R. for Adrienne Clarkson, and her people will do whatever they can to clean this up. It's a fact, though, that she spends money like royalty (even using government private planes to go to her cottage), but she always tries to justify her spending. I'm glad that we have the freedom, though, to point this out and the press is always on the lookout to see and publish how the politicians spend their money (not that that's going to stop them from spending it, mind you).

An Ontario Teen (15 Yrs old Grade 8) were touring the Governor General's official residence in Ottawa on Tuesday when he spotted Clarkson -- and wondered aloud to a friend about the Governor General's spending habits.
He said "Is that the woman that spends the money on the Queen when she comes?'"....
And he was was hustled out of Rideau Hall after asking a touchy question .....
