@ El Duro   ....that is the easy part saying I'm sorry but after that  they look at you and ....the words are hard because you don't want to say the wrong thing.

I tried to focus on the happy times with the mom ...but my friend is a different story..

I suppose you mean YOU were at her house last night...

Nothing much one can say under those circumstances - I haven't gone through the death of a parent, but nothing anyone says could take the pain away, I suppose. hmm
