aight guys so yes we decided to chk out lucid on a wednesday "spanish nights"

and this my scoop......

what spanish night i felt like i was in a resort and i was the only one that spoke spanish......

i think i had to ask what level of dancing i was in because of the dance skewl.....

uhm if your not in the dance skewl dont bother asking someone to dance......

uhm how come i had to pay 7 bucks and a dollar for coat check...................

it was so cold in that place that my feet were cold.....................

for once i could count the spanish ppl in a room................. (that included the guys son ache and the bouncer!!!)

i have to admit the place is beatiful and the floor is wicked!!!!! HARD WOOD FLOOR!!!!!

i think they must import the beer straight from mexico cuz genie payed 12 bucks for two beer..... so dont even ask about the water!!!!

but i have to admit the best thing about lucid is the falafel place next door we bought two falafels for 10 bucks!!!!

and oh yeah

we look so disappointed that we got free complimentary passes for saturday night!!!!!

PROS --

1) IF U LIKE SALSA ALL NIGHT - THIS IS UR VENUE!!

2) LIVE BAND FOR THE MOST PART REALLY GOOD SHOW NICE STAGE!!

3) GREAT DANCE FLOOR WOOD FLOORS

4) HUGE PLACE (MAIN FLOOR ONLY OPEN ON WEDNESDAYS) THEY HAVE AN ESCALATOR!!! GUYS YES THIS IMPRESSED ME NO STAIR CLIMBING LMAO!!

5) THERE IS A GREAT FALAFEL PLACE NEXT TO LUCID AMAZING!!! THAT WAS A BIG BONUS!!!

OK SO NOW THE CONS!!!

1) IF UR NOT WITH THAT DANCE SCHOOL SALSA UNITED I THINK IT IS!!! FORGET ABOUT DANCING!! CUZ THEY STICK TO THERE PARTNERS. ITS A COMPETITION AS TO WHO CAN PUT THE BEST MOVES ON!!

2) DJ BILLY??? CANT REALLY MIX NOT BAD BUT NOT THE BEST!!

3) ONLY PLAY LIKE 3 SONGS FROM DIFFERENT TYPES (BACHATA, MERENGUE)

4) NO LATINOS IN THIS PLACE I MEAN BESIDES THE BAND WE WERE 4!!! (BUT THEN AGAIN MOST LATIN PPL DONT A KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE OR B) DONT PARTY ON A WED)

5) DRINKS ARE EXPENSIVE!!! (IN THIS PART I MUST SAY NYC KICKS ASS)

6) ITS $7 COVER EVEN THOUGH THEY SAY 2 4 1???? WTF!! OH AND $8 IF U CHECK IN UR JACKET

7) THE PLACE WAS EMPTY I MEAN IN TOTALL LIKE 50PPL OR SO AND THEY WERE ALL FROM THE DANCE COMPANY LMAO!!

SO NEVER AGAIN SORRY LUCID UR AN AMAZING VENUE BUT U NEED TO GET PROMOTERS OR SOMETHING HAPPENING THE CLUB IS BEAUTIFUL!!! CANT WAIT TO GO ON A SAT

OH THE OTHER GOOD THING IS WE GOT COMPLIMENTRY PASSES FROM ONE OF THE MANY OWNERS OF THE PLACE TO COME ON A SAT AFTER HE SAW OUR FACES OF DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
