It is a tough situation. Also, it would be a decision that my partner and I should take , the baby has two parents and the two of them should decide. The risk of my child being bullied at school or the responsability of a special child won't be something that I would take in consideration , it is the life of MY CHILD that we are "deciding on".
Ultimatley I think the woman should decide. Only she knows how she feels about what is growing inside her and I don't think anyone should judge anyone for making such a hard decision

I think you have to visualized really hard and be in the kid's shoes. Would you want to go through life like that? Kids are cruel in school and parents often are not aware that their own kids are bullies at school.
My cousins had down syndrome babies and these kids need to be looked after for the rest of their life. Although some are smart but it depends on the severity of the illness. Anyways, it always touches me when I see these stories.
Yeah, very tough one. I can't picture my life without my kiddo and had she been born with health problems, I would have done anything in the world for her, of course. I am not pro-abortion yet I am not totally against pro-choice either... I dunno what I would do; but it would depend greatly on the specifics of the case, risks, seriousness of the illness, and of course how the wifey feels.

The show was about this actress, can't remember her name Bree and her hands and feet fingers are fused together. Both of her kids came out the same and had multiple surgeries but didn't fix the problem.
I saw this show yesterday and it made me sad but also made me think really hard about this....
If you test can back and it shows that your baby has some kind of abnormality or mental illness would you continue with the pregnancy and would you see it as a blessing?
Kids have a hard time growing up and I think it is unfair, but I also respect the beauty of life!
I'll pass.....I have a gf who is having a high risk pregnancy because of her tyroid problems and there's a 60% chance her baby will be born with a problem...sad

I think, and it may be bad, that i would end the pregnancy. The world is already tough, cold and cruel, it wouldn't be fair.

I dunno. I guess I'd have to be there. With a cool mind -if I must be honest- if it was early in the pregnancy -and depending on the illness, and I mean a serious one- I think I would opt for abortion
