We were never really rewarded for doing well. We were expected to (that, and the fact that my parents couldn't really afford "extra" stuff)
I do reward my son though

Rewards I give: praise, candy, McDees, sometimes whatever she wants or a promise to get her something she reaaaaaally wants... For good grades and good behaviour.

Well if I was bad or did bad in school I get a good slapping, so it wasn't an option to slack or be bad.

I got & still get rewarded all the time. I luv it.

I don't think my parents would of EVER NOT got me something as a punishment.
