im not too much into commercial tracks as well......but there has to come a time were u either cross the line or u just stay back producing real music without caring if you $$$....theres lots of pr artists that r going commercial with good music....arcangel de la ghetto jowell y randy ....tego went commercial and 80% of his music is lyrically good...
after DY'S "pose" single .........i was on the verge of not hearing anything from him ever again....but then i heard the new album ....hes still got in....people who call him a sell out probably dont know much about all his music......hes probably one of the most talented reggaeton artists that can do any track....commercial ones for clubs....good hiphop with messages....he can go hardcore do an r & b track ....as well as go salsa merengue etc etc.............
imagine japonese doing colabos with tego or arcangel ......thats what i wanna see more panamenian artists with pr artists .....jamaican artists have been already doing tracks with prs check out the new carribean connection cd
lol i know enough to tell you that panamenian reggae aint up there with PR'S i can 110% guarantee you on that......yo se que tu sabes mas que mi sobre el reggae de tu panama.....obvio...i dont follow any of the new stuff too much.....maybe i should hear a lil more cuz what ive heard so far....not really impressed.......
when it comes to PR's reggae/hiphop......dont even test me hahahahahahah .....cause i will merk you easily
u never knew that nandos and el general's first cd's were also produced by boricuas???......r u for real????
porque rookie tubo que pedir la ayuda a luney para sacar su disco adelante? uhuh escuchaste el nuevo cd hes even got de la ghetto on his track...PR reggae artist thats
panama reggae wont go anywhere without the help of pr production....thats the reality.....
I knew Nando Boom and el general got their music produced in PR because at the time el general Noriega banned reggae in Panama (studios and radio stations were banned to play or produce reggae) El rookie changed his style so much I don't like him anymore, he's considered a sellout in Panama justlike NIGGA/djflex. I have hundreds of cassettes, cd's an 12 vinyls de reggae panameno, como dije anteriormente el reggae panameno no es comercial.

"""""I listen to reggae even until this day pero esa basura reggaeton is more of a Boricua thing"""""""""...
See theres my point right there first of all try and listen to more tracks, more artists other then the commercial sh1t you hear at latin clubs or even worse en la radio......trust me pelada just like yourself ..who has been listenting to panamenian reggae since u were 3....i have been following reggae/hiphop de PR since i was 12 even waaaaaaay earlier i remember when i was 10 i was hearing my first vico c vinyl ....as well as a panamenian pioneers....pocho pan nando renato el general etc etc......but all in all i prefered el reggae/hiphop de PR......thats why when the whole reggaeton explosion happened ........its was nothing new to me..it was more like damm finally after all these years......but its just a lil funny to see new school people like YOU who diss a genre without even knowing anything outside the bascis
the same goes for hiphop as well.................
lets not even get started on panamenian reggae being better then PR's hahaha cause if thats what u think......id be more then happy to prove you WRONG....
just to let u know ....alot of nandos and el generals music production was from boricuas.....:):):):):)
you dont hear too much when it comes to a specific genre eh....for a panamena im surprised that you dont know much sobre el genero...listen to some good lyrics the one with nando aint the best in lyrics but a classic
Well Dannyboi I grew up listening to Panamanian reggae since I was 3 years old, I listen to reggae even until this day pero esa basura "reggaeton" is more of a Boricua thing...Entonces porque soy Pana tengo que escuchar reggae las 24 horas del dia? I know sobre el genero, I know more old school artists than Nando Boom (who btw in case you didn't know became a pastor)...I love music, but I enjoy otros tipos de musica que no solo sea latina. Here some very old school early 80's reggae
ive never seen sooo much taste in sh1tty music in just one thread
