definitely make sure you have your own domain with domain based email and a website on your card - you want to look professional.

I say get the business cards done as soon as you can. Register your wedsite/domain name so that at least you have it on your card too. Even if people go to the under construction site, they know that the product is coming soon.

I sincerely wish you all the best in this business. It truly is a labor of love.

Both LGigolo's sample are good. Defently, you need some color. Also, the name of your Jewlery or Business . a picture it s always good. Simple to the point but with Style. How would your describe your jewlery????

My jewelry is definitely unique/ stylish/ & trendy.

I usually design jewelry that I would wear and I'm pretty careful when I pick my style of beads.  I look for texture and types of cut on the beads

That 's your answer for the bc, put some texture to it,. maybe on the picture of the jewlery. Something with style , choose your favorite color  and go for a longer business card instead of the same rectangular shape.

I guess do the business cards for now; and depending when you expect the website to be created, order/print enough to last you till then. Once website is up you'll need to print more with website name listed on card.

What about a catchy name? or just have "Custom Jewelry" by....

Either or, I guess... at the end of the day, it's the jewelry itself that will attract customers - through word of mouth and so forth.

R U still thiking of creating a website? If so, I'd hold off till you have it running so you can list it on the business card.

What do u suggest?   I was thinking of a website but right now when people ask me for a card, I have nothing to give them.   Word of mouth is getting around and interest is growing.

In the meantime what can I do?

Not sure if I'm going to do them at the Printing House or someone at work could help me with that.  I'll get good quality paper.

Is your style a choker style or long?  Wood/ shells/ or plastic?

coker or long? confused.gif

Oops, I meant chocker style or long.  I actually gave some to Alex Bello as samples and he's worn them to death lol.

Long style with a little cross like up to your chest?

Sounds good.. long; but not overly long (a la' hip hoper style)... more like medium long. hmm Wood or plastic.  Thanks! biggrinbiggrin

Ok.  Done!

Okay people I need your help & pick your brain...

I've decided to do business cards for my side business (costume jewelry - one of a kind/ hand made/ work with stone, crystals, glass etc).

Anyways, I want to know what attracts you to a business card.

It is colour/ a picture/ font (s) /or basically simplicity of the card that stands out for you?
