I made tomato sauce from scratch, and it depends on what I am making I add the different spyces and other ingredients, pizza dough yummy!!!, I love cooking but lasgna and other pasta doughs still on my TO LEARN list.
i make my own dough and sauce for pizza it comes out amazing and the learnt to make shrimp portuguese empanadas (took me forever the first time) and other stuff....i was taught to never buy can stuff everything is mostly from scratch. Not that much work if you enjoy doing it.
How many of you still make your own, tomato sauce, pizza dow, lasagna dow, or taco dow (im not sure if thats the right word). jam, bread, and all sort of stuff. the tomato sauce and pizza dow is something we regulary do.
I do.....I make my own pizza I think couple foro members tried...not for bragging but kinda kick ass.
I love cooking and most of my stuff is made from scratch ...

I don't make none of the above mentioned. But I AM raising my post count!
Home made stuff sometimes seems like a LOT of work to get something that you can easily (and cheaply - is cheaply a word? ) get in a can. BUT Home made stuff often is a lot more tasty than canned stuff. One thing I would not mind doing/attempting someday is home made VINO!
