He just looked at it... didn't even lift a finger!! Carriso is ten times the goalie that he is! Gago should pack and go home. Ese no puede jugar ni en el Timbits league Aguero as much as I like him, shouldn't be playing that far up. He would be much more effective un poco mas atrasado, como Messi. The only one that stood out -as usual- is Messi. Always consistent But if Argentina plays anything like against Ecuador, Brasil will be up at least 2!!

Wow I agree on most points!! I TOTALLY agree with Palermo...as much as I also HATE him...the guy can score. Tevez...I know it's insane. They need to do something quick. Argentina has the type of team that should beat Ecuador with the benched players no problem. i just don't understand what has been happening with them. Let's hope they turn things around. You can always count on Argentina though.....they will come out on top in the end...or close to the top.
Really?? finally, we ALMOST agree!! lol WHich points do you not agree with? And what did YOU think of the game?
Tevez was sent off against Colombia so he won't play against Brasil either...but he is the natural partner of Messi in front....Aguero esta muy guero...Palacio??? que descache...I rather to see Milito or Higuain he...but Palermo??? Not even when he was at the top of his game... I rather hundred thousand times to put Crespo even though he is not playing (or evfen Denis)..too many options to go that road....but con el Coco ..who knows...
@Chili, you are right I thought they were playing in Chaco but still will be 2-0.

Los Bolivianos se la fumaron bien verde to win against Paraguaythats my only explanation for that
I dont count out Chile for tonights gamethis is probably one of the most important ones for them!
Venezuela is one of those teams that first you wanted to win because you felt sorry for them, then they become in the pain in the ass that would take points away from you that cost your elimination and now the seems to be catching up with the South American elite. I know they beated Brazil 2-0 but we also beated them 5-2 not too long ago..so they are not that consistent. From todays gamenothing would surprise meChile has the players and the coach that I respect the most out of all the other teams. As a Colombian I would rather a tie or a Venezuelan victoryjust because I see Chile as the ONLY potential contender forthe 4th spot on the long run, but honestly that would be a mediocre attitude at this early stage.

Paraguay.....I KNOW EH...CRAZYYYYYYY but for some reason I just knew they wouldn't win. I put tie just because Paraguay is so strong right now but I should have put loss. I just didn't think Bolivia would loose again at home. The altitude is ALWAYS a factor as well.
Mastro is right.....soccer is a great sport because it's so unpredictable.
I will be TOTALLY honest here....I really don't think Chile is going to win. It's impossible for me to bet against them though I just can't....call it denial...or...loyalty. They need this win and I am hoping for the best.

I FRIGGIN KNEW IT!!! I should have said tie! I knew they would freaking tie. UGH!!
Now I just hope my Chile Venezuela is either right or off because we kick serious a s s
Okay I would like to point out that you were all WAY off on the Paraguay....hee hee
Chilenita: You've been the closest with the predictions...
Bolivia beating Paraguay is something that nobody (nobody who is SANE anyways) would have bet their house on - Probably THE biggest surprise so far en estas eliminatorias... Yeah, so la altura and what not; but it is still Paraguay vs. Bolivia.

Bolivia and Paraguay 1-1 (it's not easy to win IN Bolivia)
Ecuador will beat Colo 1-0 (I prefer Colo but I want them to loose and I think they will
Brazil will beat Argentina 2-1 (although I kind of think they will tie)

Yeah Paraguay WTF?? But that's something you couldn't have predict...I mean Bolivia has barely win at home and they came out with this victory...very ironic.
but whatever ...soccer would be too boring if you could predict all the scores, I'm satisfied with the scores. anyway ..we are on third place as the only undefeated team

Clavaron sin vaselina a los pobres cholitos!!
Yeah, it was too bad - embarrasing... but We (Ecua) were in the same boat not long ago.

Tape it?? Which network are you watching the games on???
Depends....last time the CHILE game was the only freaking game not on the usual ones.....fox sports en espanol...etc.....I had to catch it on ESPN (spanish one).....Thursday's game not too sure yet but I don't worry much if I can't tape it my brother either tapes every single Chile game himself OR he gets it taped from one of the Chilean bars for $10.00. He will always drop it off to me if he knows I can't catch it. He watches them the first time and the watches them again to really focus on the game after he knows the results. Can you say hardcore? My dad does the same

Well I have a strange soft spot for Abbondancieri So I guess that is where we dissagree...but not really because that opnion is not REALLY based on logic. You know when you just really grow to like a player over years of watching them....well that is me with Abbondancieri.
What did I think of the game?.....blah...that is what I thought. Had it not been for Ecuador's defense loosing concentration Argentina would not have tied. They were LUCKY. I watched the game because (I hate to admit it) I have always liked watching Argentina but there wasn't much to look at on Sunday. That's it really. No strong opinion just blah. It was a complete waste of time.
@mastro...ohhhhhhhhhh lets see what happens. We should have made friendly bets. next time....

WOW... Both Mastropiero and X pick Venezuela... They've been playing better en estas eliminatorias than they have traditionally played in past years; but I think Chile will not take 'em lightly and gonna win this one.
Chile played this weekend against Bolivia and had some problems with them even tho they won, Venezuela is a much better team than Bolivia reason i pick them to win.
~X
Just out of total curiosity what "problems" did you see with Chile? I thought considering "la altura" and all the players that the coach decided NOT to call...they played alrgiht. I thought they were going to KILL the coach in Chile when everyone heard who he was calling to the team. Turns out El Argentino knew what he was doing............
Hopefully they do well in Venezuela. It's a young team but it's the young team that did very well in the Sub 23 world cup. Let's hope these youngsters can pull off another win.
@Mastropiero...your wanting Chile to loose makes total sense but hopefully Chile upsets you and kicks Venezuela's a s s....
if they are young or old doesn't matter is the team that chile has put out there, and being young is a major reason they had problems soccer is not just about how u can move the ball but also about experience.
~X
Okay so you still haven't said what you found was the "problem"...just curious to get your opinion.....

That's not fair! what jersey were you wearing?? how do you feel when Ecuador tie,did you celebrate both goals?
I felt like I was in an awkward position jeje. My ecuadorian cousins were telling me to go for ecuador. But my argi older male couisns were watching me to see if I would even lay a hoorray! for Ecuador jeje. Deep down I wanted Ecuador to do better. Argetina will always go through anyways.

Born here from an ecuadorian father and an argintinian mother Mr Piero. I assume your a colombiano right?

They didn't play that well but the goals were awesome...(being honest Bolivia is playing at a Concacaf level, there should be relegated and allow to play there with Mexico, Bahamas, St Vincent and USA) my feeling is that Chile will be our direct rivals for the last spot so I hope they lose...Venezuela doesn't have big names but they are pulling the results...Arriba Vinotinto abajo Chavez!

I didn't watch either game - but I still don't believe in Venezuela... it's like a Cindirella dream that someone will eventually wake 'em up from. Chile's certainly got the potential to do so.
