If you've seen it big and think it's big HERE... just imagine how much bigger it really is down there. I know people down there who go to "la cancha" religiously every weekend and play it. I've given it a try a few times as well but couldn't quite keep up with them "viciosos semaneros" LOL.

I don't think it's ghetto - it's just different. A variation of regular volleyball.

Ecuadorian volleyball (Ecuavolley)

This is a variation with 3-player teams on clay, cement, or grass courts with a higher net (2.75m - 2.80m) and the use of a soccer ball No. 5. I remember seeing it in the newspaper a few months back and i even called my friend to tell her because he would always try to hook up with her. Thank goodness she thought he was gross.

It's too bad that they still haven't found him. I guess he has friends that have him in hidding. Truely sad
