Appearantly old news,
http://www.reuters.com/article/musicNews/idUSN1031367620071211

in short, the artist 'Nigga' had to change his name to 'DJ Flex' in order to release his album in the U.S.

I first heard his song 'Te Quiero' from the tv show 'Rojo' on TV Chile, i couldn't help laughing in disbelief when the show's announcer says "la cancion de Nigga, Te Quiero", funny how this type of stuff isn't looked upon as politically incorrect in latin america, it is what it is over there (at least in Chile). Terms indicating some sort of race or culture dont seem to be sensetive, similar to how people get nicknames over there.. usually by their appearance

ex:
El indio, El negro, El chino, El gordo, El flaco, El turko etc,etc,etc..

try using those names in English up here!...

In the end, I find it interesting how this part of our culture clashes when adapting to north american standards and lifestyle.
