@ Tv Buff - Did you miss the cumbias we played?
No, I didn't miss the cumbias. I really enjoyed them. It's just that you're known as "Bachata group Xtasis", so people assume you only play bachatas, which I think limits you, 'cause you do play wicked cumbias (a more popular rhythm, I would think) and I'm sure other rhythms as well. With Bonita and her wicked voice and now with Baina, I think you can do wonders.

Yeah, we ended up going sin querer queriendo. Basically, if there was no foro, there would've been no patrons. And the waitres... I'm glad I went, though, 'cause I hadn't seen you people in ages. And it was great to see la Chilindrina and finally meet Che, although they probably have no recollection they even left their house. Oh, and I finally met GiGi, who's not an indio enano cabezon like he's been described by other caucasian members on this very site.
Other than that, it was awesome to finally see Xtasis perform. I had never seen them live, and I was pleasantly surprised. Bonita sings beautifully and she and Baina did a great rendition of an Alex y Monchandra tune. One question, though: you guys are young, it's a very good looking band, with good musicians, why limit yourselves to Bachata? And don't the Dominicans look at you funny for being bachateros? Just wondering, though, 'cause I think you limit your market by limiting the rhythms.
I agree - I even sugested verbally to one of the band memebers that they should give SAN JUANITOS a shot!
(Nice to meet you too - and you're not a wrinkled vieja as you've been portrayed to be by other members either! Oh wait, that was ME! )

yea the waitress didnt know wat the heck a gin and tonic was...or the best was the bartender didnt know how to make a broken down golf cart...all i know everytime i turned around i had a drink!!!
it kinda felt like a foro gathering lol...even chili and buffy was there...

Althou I do gotta say it was not good for the club owners to have waitresses that can't add ur bill & expect you to do it. I think that in this type of buss. u need ppl that's agressive, outgoing, etc, not shy, very low spoken that are intimidated by customers.
I disagree... I thought that THAT was a plus 7 tequilas and 4 beers, I added it for her and only paid $23!!!
23 bucks? Good for you. Shoudl've ordered some more tequilas and a few more beers :)
And that was including a generous $10 tip!
