I hope the Buffsterinos found ALL of the eggs - so you don't mind a rotten stinky one, when hubby goes to pull out one out of that tuxedo jacket at next fall's (fill in the blank) invitation that you may get.

Well, it was a total success, considering that I started hiding the eggs at 3:00 in the morning so I just pretty musch threw them all in the air and let them fall where they may... my family had come over that night and I didn't have time to hide them properly. The buffsters had fun for about 30 minutes. Oh, and I've gained like 5 pounds from all the friggin' chocolate 'cause one of the buffsters doesn't eat chocolate and the little one is hyper enough as it is, so we have to limit his chocolate intake.
In other words, this was the first and last. Well, maybe.
We never really did it my mom would buys stuffed animals and chocolate and tell us the bunny left it! lollol shes so cute and now we do it with matthew we get to my moms on sat night and help hide all the eggs then when we get there for lunch time she tells him there are eggs and he goes crazy looking for them! hes so cute!
Other then that i ususally take my god daughter to Riverdale Farm near regent park for an easter egg hunt and the pettying zoo they have there its great and if u have kids they always have stuff going!
I dont know if in Colombia they have adopted this tradition now, but when i was growing up there I never heard of the easter bunny, easter eggs, or chocolate for Easter. All we did was go to church and eat asado. Or a really yummy soup.
I do get my kids chocolates. We havent really done an egg hunt, but if this year i get enough kids, i think i may set up the hunt.

No. We barely got friggin EASTER EGGS! let alone a "hunt"!! We got a lot of chocolate bars though..... 'cause they were cheaper than the eggs, and got a lot more chocolate for your buck We just had to pretend it was in the shape of an egg
Yeah well times have changed my friend. I was in Arg last Easter and I bought chocolate bunnies for Che and guess what the foil wrapping was the bunnies dressed as BOCA players...BOCA eggs...you name it. They have all kinds of eggs and all kinds of easter stuff now.
Man you are so much like Che.....poor guy never got anything He used to get A toy for xmas
YOU buying eggs, going there from CANADA doesn't really tell me things gave changed I didn't say we DIDN'T have eggs, they were just expensive My parents would get us eggs (sometimes) 'cause I guess we were kinda special to them but los primos y todo eso, would get chocolate bars. And my aunts/uncles would do they same with us

We had the best easter egg hunts EVER!!! It was me and my bro but my parents used to let me start first because he is five yrs older and had an unfair advantage. Yes there were lots of rules. It was always on Easter Sunday...we would wake up and our baskets would be there with all of our goodies and in the afternoon we would look forward to the hunt!! It was always little eggs from Laura Secord cuz they were the best and there was always on huge egg hidden somewhere with our names written on it in icing!!!!!!!!! My parents still give me gifts for easter!! I started the hunt tradition for my niece..chile jr is still too small so she will get toys and stuff instead!
EASTER ROCKS!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really have to appreciate your parents. They adopted this tradition for you. Chileans don't do this, do they? Now, you mentioned a basket. What chu mean? You have to hide eggs AND prepare an individual basket for each child? With what?
I need more stories like Chile's and more details. I only have a couple of days to plan this.
UGH HELLOOOOOOOOO Easter basket....helloo....
When your kids wake up in the morning BAM there is a a basket full of goodies for each which usually has stuff like.....BIG huge chocolate easter bunnies, stuffed animals, toys etc......each boy gets a basket which is placed somewhere they can see in the middle of the night because the EASTER BUNNY brought it!!!!!!
THE HUNT...here is a suggestion....get 2 different color eggs to hide....assign a color to each boy and they can ONLY hunt for that color. Write down how many you hide!!!! Hide them all over the house or in the backyard it it's nice out. They will have a BLAST trust me! Have them paint eggs too! It's fun. They sell the kits at shoppers.

So I'm talking with this co-worker at lunch and she was telling me how much fun she had as a kid (which was like yesterday 'cause she's barely in her 20s) and how she and her brother couldn't wait to go egg-hunting easter sunday, and the competition, and the rules her mom had, and she had a total blast.
Now I'm thinking of doing this for the buffsters. We don't have those traditions and have never even tried to do anything like this, but it sounds like it would be fun for the kids (plus having chocolate all weekend can't be bad ). Did any of you adopt that tradition growing up?
