@ Mark and Baina.. OMG its HUGE in the T.Dot. I have a friend from high school that is very much involved with the Dragon boat racing. You'd really have to find a team of committed people. Ppl here at work were talking about putting one together but no one ever did it

Well how much can you prepare?

Anyhow alL I can think @ is my clothes, shoes, etc. I mean trying to see wat new, in style/fashion. Now that my worry. LOL

Another worry is dieting, I mean I can starve myself to an extent & then I give up. LOL j/k
I barely ever eat fast food, as a matter of fact I kinda learned to dislike it & if I do eat it, it's cus I got NO MORE CHOICE or money. LOL

I've come to realize that at a certain age you don't lose weight as easy as before. I'm pretty slim, but to stay this way or even get to my goal it's been very tough.

I'm also looking foward to my trip to Ecuador, saving as much $$ as I can!

Hey, Baina, my niece does this every year! She's, like, obsessed with this thing. I think she joined a team that practices somewhere in the west end. I'll give her your email (if that's okay with you) and ask her to send you the info. She loooooves doing this. She's also into running marathons and sh it. So NOT cool.

As for the topic, I am sooooo not ready for summer. I've been making desserts (not one, but two) every week. My sweet tooth is my damnation. Food I can handle, but sweets... man, that's another story.

Is that a one time event, or weekly scheduled thing?
Yeah.. 15 to 25 peeps is a lot, to get to commit. Besides... being latinos, we'd probably show up right around the end of the race

Sunny warm days are not too far away. Anyone getting ready for it? going to the gym? diets?
I gained 10-12 friggin pounds in the last couple of months and I think I should start working on shedding them
So hard to find motivation though
