but u should get online, is better when u play other people and not the computer..... the bad part of the online is that at times it has lag or u get disconnected but is free.

I finally played Rock band, and i have to say it does rock harder than guitar hero.

That is all.

Oh oh, and that game 'army of two?' looks really good! I want it!!!

I mean the biggest game for the Wii is coming out in about 2 weeks and u guys are still talking about an old game...... get with the the program get Super Smash Bros Brawl and after that get Super Mario Kart if u don't believe me ask any1 at a game shop about this games.

by the way this game is so big they are having tournaments all over the US.

As per X, above... Rock Band is better, but it is not yet available for the Wii

and even getting Guitar Hero for the Wii is hard enough... Dogo's looking for it and can't find it... I tried yesterday at Eaton's EB Games' and they didn't have it - Neither did Best Buy @ Dundas/Yonge. hmm

Rockband is by far the better of the two.

Rock Band Confirmed For Wii And Q2 European Release

Electronic Arts confirmed today that gamers who currently find themselves without a copy of Rock Band, due to either console allegiance or geography, finally have hope. The European market is scheduled to get the game in some form within the first quarter of EA's financial year, which translates to an April to June 2008 time frame. Execs said that the title would ship in the region "across all SKUs."

In addition to the European release of both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, a Wii version of Rock Band has been finally confirmed. While such a product has been discussed by EA and Harmonix in the past, official word that it should ship this year hadn't yet come.

Actually, it is true. My cousin just bought Rock band for the PS3 and he says it's hands down better than Guitar hero.

Rock band is probably the best out of the 2 because u don't just play the guitar but also sing and play other instruments and like u say it has multiplayer capability.

Nope, but like u said it has gotten great reviews, I've played the one for the PS2 and it was a great game..... try renting it first and see how u like it.

I'm debating on which one to get. Any suggestions? pros and cons of each?

I've played Guitar hero, and i get hooked. I've heard pretty good reviews on Rock band too.
I guess the only downside/upside of Rock band would be that you'll most likely need 4 people to play or no? The upside is that 4 people can play at a time.
