I think I remember now, hearing on the some american spanish channel say: "Hora pacifico/antlantico/central"

What are you looking for the abbreviation or the translation? or the translation and then abbreviated?
For EST... I don't think there is one. (unless you just translate it literally) Is there a latin country that even uses different time zones?
For e.g. ... no se, I just use: "por ejemplo:"

La abreviación i.e., significa es decir, y la abreviación e.g., significa por ejemplo

Not sure about EST en español.
