The show is a good watcht though I told hubby that if we were to participate, we'd for sure win the money

Hubby was flipping through channels once and we ended up watching a lot of this show. They had this latino guy on, father to two daughters; his wife and mom were there too. God! The stuff he admitted to made me cringe everytime he answered. It was sickening to watch, but we couldn't stop watching. We did, though, so I don't know how far the guy went or what else he admitted to. The family looked mortified.
Watched it last nite for the first time... Fawk - talk about revealing secrets and families being destroyed.
So what happened last night?? Did that girl actually admit to leaving her man if her ex came around???
I think she admited that she thought she was in love with someone else at the time she got married... TRUTH
I don't really recall what she answered to the question about her leaving her current hubby for ex-bf; but she did say the truth.
She failed and lost it all on a stupid question about whether or not she thought she was a good woman - She said yes, but she failed! She admitted to so much BS to fail on a stupid question!

it is pretty cool. But they try to add so much suspense that they draaaag the question and anwers onnnn, for so long that it bores you for a few moments
Can't wait till they pop the 'midget sex' question

That sounds soooo cool! How does one get to be a contestant on said show? I would for sure win all the money! Just as long as they dont ask me anything about my life pre operation... or about that time that I was involved in that drug ring.... or about my legal status in this country.
They go through a lie detector test before the show (about 50 Qs) they (the participants) don't know the outcome of the test On the show, they ask 21 of those questions (yes or no answers) They go in "blocks" of questions. First 5 or 6 questions are $10.000. Second block $25.000 and so on till the grand prize. $500.000. If you answer 'yes' but your lie detector test result was 'no', you loose everything I only saw a guy go up to the 100.000. Some questions were: 'Did you ever steal from a job and let someone else take the blame?' (his boss was present BTW) 'Do you LOVE you girlfriend?' (his GF was there) 'would you leave your GF if your exwife would take you back?', 'Did you gamble your kid's college fund?' (his son asked this question), 'have you ever helped someone smuggle something into the country?' And I'm sure they get much more personal as the amount at play gets higher. Once you start a block of questions you can't back out. If the question is asked, you MUST answer it. You can't quit until you reach the next block of questions This guy quit at the $100.000 block... I guess he had more stuff to hide

I found it unusually entertaining. It must take a lot of work behind the scenes to find suitable candidates who can offer some controversy.
I found it a bit odd how people cheer, clap and quickly forget when the contestant advances by admitting they did something embarrasing or even something illegal.
