since it looks like I missed the chatbox. I guess my only beef is the super cartelera de anuncios clasificados y botones that takes up the top half of my browser when I log in. It looks like I downloaded half a page of compra y venta by accident. its a real pain specially when viewing on a smaller screen like a phone.

Hey Admin the new setup is good but u should also take away our avatar and signatures, don't give them everything, save something for when they sign up wink

I think a few people voted "NO" prematurely before actually experiencing the chat box and then changed their minds; but it was too late to change the poll - I didn't vote till I tried it out.

as much as I love to come on foro and write jibrish and start nonsense from time to time, i personally dont like the new concept behind foro.

although i do aplaud the person(s) responsible for the change, it has caused an uproar (for lack of a better word right now) on foro...

i think that TH should remain a forum instead of a chat site... if i wanted to chat, i would go to a chat line.. although the idea is roughly the same, i still rather post on a forum not a chat site...

my 2 cents, may not mean anything but you asked.

I have an idea Admin, if u r going to have a ChatBox just make it a chatbox not an updater of the forum as well, separate the both of them, chat in one place and foro update in another.

I seen sites that have the foro update right in the main page and it works gr8, that way new people that come to the site can see the topics that are going on in the foro (maybe u can filter the topics a la JINX

) that way u always have something new on the main page as well.

i dont like it too much

having a chat room together with the forum makes less messages and less topics because most people would just go chat instead of post messages, but hey thats just my opinion

Maybe the chat thingy should be off to the side, instead of the top, so it doesn't interfere with threads, and could be a million lines long... the threads area is already so narrow, there;s room for sure

I say make it 10-15 lines, even if with a smaller font.
