I know you met him and that is great.  If you are going to work there then great for you as well.  If this is all true then I highly recommend that you speak differently about Mana.  If you are his friend then act like it.  That's all I am saying.  There is a huge difference between meeting someone a few times or having some conversations and being an actual friend.

Anyway whatever the place is like I said b4 better than anything else in the latin scene on a Saturday. Those who like it great and those who don't should stay away.  Same goes for the south american thing...you don't like them then it's not your place.  Simple.

Its nothing taboo, alot of people who know me outside of foro know I've done my fair share of seling drugs. I was surprised at how fast alot of Chilenos and Argentinois at Mana came up to me asking me if I had anything on me for sale. I must strongly disagree with you on this one.  I spent years with a loser that hung out at Chinos and I know for a fact there is way more stuff floating around that place then at Mana.  Not only that but the atmosphere is totally different.  GHETTO is the ONLY way to describe Chinos and the people who go there.  I guess that is why the FINALLY installed metal detectors ....funny for such a tiny establishment.  I remember all the disgusting greasy alcoholic coke heads from Chinos far too well.  I am not saying there aren't people who use drugs at Mana...EVERY single bar or club has people using...that is no big deal.  It's the type of people.  Comparing these two places is silly.  I think anyone who has spent even 5 minutes in both places will agree.  I have admitted that Mana doesn't always have the type of crowd anymore that I used to like.  There used to be much more rock and the crowd was different but you still can't compare it to Chinos.  Not on its worse day. If you are a dealer yourself then yeah I guess people know to go straight to you.  Watch what your write here...you don't know who is on this thread....don't be surprised if your not allowed back in.

 I know the owner very well and trust me he tries his best to make sure fights are not breaking out and noses aren't being "powderd" in his bathrooms.  He is an honest guy trying his best to keep his club as clean and problem free as he can.  The CHINO...well he is a different ball of wax all together.  You can't compare the 2 at all.

BTW never good to try and "defend" someone who would not bother to do the same.

Chile: It was my first time, and I didn't quite like the "che" vibe going on, but I was there for a birthday so I stayed. Caliche I have been going to Mana for over 5 years and trust me you can't compare it to the disgusting, ghetto nasty atmosphere or people that go to Chinos. Chinos is a rat hole....drugie...alcoholic hang out straight up.  Mana is not.  Eww I cant believe you would put these places in the same thought.  The first time you went to Mana YOU wanted to start beef remember?

The crowd isn't bad at all....it's just changed.  It used to be mainly Argentinos, Uruguayos and Chilenos and now it's more mixed.  There are a bit more punks then there used to be but it's not bad at all.  The music is a good mix of everything.  Not as much rock as they used to play which kind of sucks but it's still good.  When I can get out on a Saturday night it is where I go.  In my opinion it's much better than any other latin place on a Saturday.

@Caliche when we spoke just a little while back it was the FIRST time you had been to Mana.  There are NOT fights all the time.  Problems here and there but not often or anything.

Different owner and different DJ.  It sounds the same but it's actually changed quite a bit.  The vibe was so much better four years ago.

I was there like the second week of Dec a Sat n it was good well I was really up there but it was good I think it was full so I think it was good LoL as far as I can remember it was LoL
