thats another topic.....people assuming that ur gangsta or thugged out cause u wear baggy clothes....

i was always into hiphop/reggaeton i dress in baggy jeans airforce ones tims baseball caps ....but not to the extent like those dudes do.. u know with bandanas and all that.....

urban style vs gangster BIG DIFFERENCE

its wack when people say "only ghetto people were tims" lol.....disbelief.gif

i got respect for people like code blue  or real central or south americans ..who lived through the real ghettos back home and dont need to act all gangsta by putting a front.....

no matter how much u move up in life ..no one should forget where they come from....

we also got our own issues with the latin kings in spain killing the re****tion for ecuadorians....

but ya man i already knew about the history of the MS13 18TH STREET LATIN KINGS NETAS BLOODS CRIPS ETC.....looked it up on you tube and did a project at school about itbiggrin

Danny, i didn't post the video so you could add fuel to the already bias and prejudice in the minds of people that think low of Central Americans. But i do get wat you're saying. I encounter alot of those guys in the summer at festivals wearing the blue bandanas tirando barrio (throwin gang signs) to other "gang" member looking guys. at the end of the day i kno half of them kids dont got balls to back their s hit up, so i jus let it be. Im sure you've seen me in the summer with my group of friends, we preety much fit the description to the guys you seen on the video. but just because we have tattoos, wear baggy clothes and listen to certain music dont mean we're bad people.

if you listen to the lyrics of "Blood Spilled" you'll understand about the struggles of one nation, El Salvador. The myths and truths behind the politics and gangs in ES. Statistically Honduras has the most gang members in all Latin America, with the majority being MS 13 or the 18th St. gang.

I guess many people don't know the history behind how those 2  gangs were formed. Quick history lesson for y'all:  these 2 gangs were formed in the good ol' US of A. Los Angeles (18th St.) and Virginia (MS13)... the gangs grew out of protectioin for their neighborhoods and families. Mexicans would fight against newcomers Central Americans, mainly Salvadoreños. Coming from a war torn country to put up with different BS didnt quite help.

The gangs grew in numbers when the geniuses in office decided to deport all gang members back to Central America. The video posted speaks about the reality some of these people lived. I personally can walk calmly when i go back home to Honduras, because the majority of my cousins are MS. Its sad to know that people think twice about travelling to their home countries just because of gangs. Canada has it preety bad as well, just not to the level as they do.

I like the video, it causes awareness to show that, yeah we know our country has a bad re****tion and the gangs have taken over, here's the reason why.

Check out this fan made video of CodeBlue's Most-Hi... Blood Spilled...

speaks about the issues in Central  America and las maras (gangs for you south americans )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivPmEy6tB54

made by ma boy Most Hi and Smokey at the Smoke Shop studios

Every time i meet a centro americano that has just arrived to TO, they seem to always be happy they left the BS they was living back home with the gangs and the political pressures.

Everyone blames las maras for the countries' problems when in reality the people who are responsible are the people electd to run the country. Check out the video, it talks about the negative effect of maras, politics and the prejudice behind the social status of many.
