I am not much of a drinker I'll have a couple of beers or maybe some cocktails, but I would pre-drink at home, so I wouldn't spend too much money outside anyways
If I feel like drinking - I will drink and not think much of how much I am spending while having a good time.
I personally don't "pre-drink" before going out and would not do with the mentality of saving a few bucks. So what if I save $25-30 bucks on 5 drinks? At the end of the day it doesn't make much of a difference. If I don't have the dough, I won't bother going out period. If low on cash and in the mood to get drunk, just have my friends over and drink.

I remember once this guy bought drinks for all the table ( prob 150$ + tip), I was amazed because usually i hang out with latinos and most are cheap

I don't think it's ghetto at all. I actually prefer to arrive at a club with a buzz going on already. I always meet up with my girlfriends b4 hand to talk and drink....we actually end up arriving at clubs too late sometimes. I don't want to be up in the club when it opens. I like to arrive when the party has already started.
I guess if you have all sorts of money to spare you won't mind spending $300.00 a night on drinks.
