My kids had the same issue as well. But luckily they would fall asleep like within 5 minutes, so I would take the bottle right away. But it is true that milk or juice can cause bacteria to rot their teeth. Does she use a soother at all?
Nope she has never once used a soother because I was scared she would be buck teeth I KNOW I KNOW I AM EXTREME
I am against soothers / pacifiers, as well!!!

chile ill tell you what my mom does she has a three yr old! But she would give him his last bottle and once he was fast asleep she would take that toothpaste that is safe for kids and the finger brush and gently just pass it over his teeth! and then just try to give him a little bit of water in a bottle and honestly it worked! i mean you can give it a try! and she also said that the last bottle is not an issue the milk wont rot there teeth or anything por el estillo! she should be fine as long as you clean them before the last bottle which is what guada said! that way its just the milk and brush them first thing in the morning!
thats coming from my mom who raised three and now a fourth one!
Chile Jr's doc told me that he has seen it a million times. My dentist says the same thing. It actually happened to my niece...they didnt all rot but the two front teeth did and my bro ALWAYS made her brush b4 her last bottle. Any baby book you buy will tell you the same thing.
I can't take the risk!! I think I'll have to let her cry
DOGO....okay not ALL Argies don't care but me and my sil had a game in Argentina once we saw there was a lot of nasty teeth.....we were on the hunt for the ugliest teeth......this guy that worked at an ice cream shop won. We use to see the HOTTEST girls and then they would smile and OMG

Does anyone notice how Chilenita stopped posting right after Angelita posted that picture? Is it just me that thinks that she left work, run home, and is likely brushing Chile Jr.'s teeth as we keep posting here?

oh i know it can cause that but its mainly ppl who dont brush there kids teeth at any point when there small! my cuzin example new mom didnt brush his teeth untill he was about 2 or so and bingo his teeth rotten! so he learned her second one she started brushing as soon as his teeth popped out and hes got great teeth! so i mean if u completely avoid it i imagine you would have more trouble?!?!
But that's what baby bottle decay causes and i'm sure she knows that already. My friends daughter had that and her teeth looked just like that picture!!
@XAVIER - You're such a sh*t disturber!! Go get me a coffee
i don't think u need a coffee, what u need is a "PAPA...LECHE"

Yes, he still had some leche in his mouth but i NEVER let him sleep with the bottle in his mouth all night which is worse. And i also tried the finger tooth brush on my son. And thank goodness he never had problems. Some kids are lucky enough to not have problems. I guess CHILE, make sure you brush your child teeth often.
Hole complicated?? Do we understand eachother now??LOL
YES!!! YESSS!!! i get it, it was established LONGGGGGGGG ago and i said i agree with you 100 heck 150%!

The liquid pools around the front teeth. During sleep, the bacteria living in every babys mouth, turns the milk sugar or other sugars to acid which causes the decay.
You can prevent this from happening to your childs teeth by learning how to protect them.
clean your childs teeth daily
never allow your child to fall asleep with a bottle filled with juice, milk, or formula (or when awake, sip on it for long periods of time as a pacifier)
start bottle weaning by at least a year
give your child plain water for thirst
make sure your child gets the fluoride needed to prevent decay
have regular dental visits for your child beginning when their first tooth erupts
TIP: Cut back on sugary bottles by gradually watering them down until they are only water.
Chi's teeth obesesion has suddenly been multiplied by 374635 times!

You said: "My son always fell asleep with his last bottle of milk till he was 3 years old. Although he did, he never had any teeth problem. "
So meaning, he fell asleep with leche in his mouth, and that's what i'm saying! That chile jr, will very likely be ok!
Then you added: From what i was told, don't let her sleep with the bottle on her mouth all night!!! Other then that, i have no more suggestion.
Osea, que si el baby se duerme con la pacha(bottle), then it's bad, and this i 100% agree on! but still, the leche is in the teeth.
I'm leaving

Angelita girl, then you just contradicted your own post. I'm merely suggested that if Chile is worried about Chile Jr's last meal staying on her teeth before bed, then she can brush them before her bottle and listo.
But then again, yo que se. Ni mama que fuera.
Ahhhh, i love my sleep
HUH?? Now how is that?? You said " I don't think milk is that bad. How about brushing them before the bottle? that way, the only thing she has is the leche..me entiendes?"
Leche it bad. My son would fall asleep after his last bottle but he never slept through the whole night with the milk and bottle in his mouth. Some kids do fall asleep with the bottle on their mouth the whole night and that's bad because the milk is still in the bottle and on their teeth. The milk can rot their teeth!!
