Every country has their own dishes and very good ones. For example, PERU has the best dishes. And CHILE has the BEST cakes and EMPANADAS!!!

I had no clue what Gallo pinto is, so I looked it up:

A variant of Leons traditional dish, the Spotted Rooster (Gallo Pinto). It consists of rice prepared in coconut oil, kidney beans and fried plantains.



Now reading GALLO as part of the name of the dish, I imagined it had something to do with a ROOSTER ashamed.gif Pero no mas rice, beans and platano frito? Is it THAT Good? where's the meaty, chickeny, fishy substance in the dish? blankstare.gif Looks like a plain little dish - not too exciting to look at, but I guess que por algo les gusta a tantos and you rave about it.

I thought the GALLO PINTO would be closer to the Ecua SECO DE POLLO blankstare.gif

Anyhow I've been to all la costa, mening beaches & Riobamba, El Cotopaxi, Banos, Milagros, but that's no biggy, even other places en la Sierra but there more like little pueblos, but full of Tradition, which makes them soooo Beautiful!! aww.gif

which part of ecuador have you guys visited?.....this laidy I know she just came back from ecuador, she was there for 3 months and toured most of ecua....she loved it, She was at guayaquil most of the time and everyone there who invited her to their home wanted to feed her chicken, but she preferd "los mariscos". Chicken seem to be delicacy over there.

That last comment was very mature hmm. 

From what i read i know that Danny is very blunt & rude with people he is not to fond of. But other people here are the same . They are very immature without mentioning names. I just come here to pass time. I'm 19 and i could too be rude to a few people here already but i am more mature then that.

Im not even dominican by the way.
