I think if you are both mature adults that don't hate eachother than you can be friends. As long as your current partner is secure in your relationship it should not bother them.

If the person I'm with saids hi or makes small talk when she happens to see them I'm okay with it but if she wants to go out as "friends" or wants to hang out like nothing happen thats a big no no.

you got it X....But like LG says it too, if there are kids involed its a different thing. I still wont go out like frinds though. I've seen cases with x's that go out together as friends and they bring their current partners......thats something bad waiting to happen.

Sometimes, there are good valid reasons to stay in touch with EXs. Just because it doesn't work out between two people doesn't mean they have to completely ignore each other. Sometimes, people can be better friends than they can be a couple. Sometimes there are kids involved. Sometimes you may just go back once in a while 'cause the sex is soooo good or because there is nothing to be bitter about.
