ITS NOT TOO BAd it all depends on how you style it as well!! i have short curly hair and i mean afro!! But as long as you use the right products and sytle it it looks good!! i have it above my shoulders just past my ears!! and i love it short and yes its in layers as well!! So if you truly hate it go to the salon and let them know! if u can style it and live with it its only hair it will grow back fast! as least mine does!!

OMG GIRL! I hate to be negative but that is a bit of a disaster. Okay so here is my suggestion.

If she did ANYTHING other than what you asked for (layers) then you should go back to the salon. Speak to the manager/owner and tell them how she has now ruined your hair. Explain that now in order for you hair to look presentable you will have to have it straight. Having it straight means the following:

purchasing a flat iron (if you have one don't mention it)
purchasing leave in products to keep it from drying due to the constant flat ironing
money wasted on a cut that you are not happy with
overall stress and time you will now have to waste to iron your hair

Any good salon will give you a full refund and free product for you hair. If you went to a crappy salon they should give you the money back at least. If you went to a super crappy salon then lesson learned and you are out of luck.

I feel your pain. I have curly hair and a b i t c h once gave me bangs. I almost punched her out.
