The union thread reminded me... I made a cake last week for my mother's birthday. As some of you may remember (and as I'm sure all of you won't give a s hit about) I took a baking course last year. Anyhoo, my mother loves pastels-- colours, that is. So I wanted to make it pink and do the lettering with a soft purple. I got the pink right, but I mixed the purple so much that it turned out brown. Now, the cake was the yummiest I've made so far, but nobody touched it. Can you guess why?
and the point of the union comes in your answer/explanation?
