I was awake at about 1 a.m. this morning and decided to see what movies I had on my laptop to see if I could put something on to keep my mind ocupied hasta que me venga el sueño. So, I looked at at my movie folder and came accross the movie Walkout. The tittle itself no me causo mucho interes, pero I told myself that this could be something to put on so I can get bored and fall asleep.
So I put it on y me puse a ver la movie and although political movies would not be at the top of my list on must see stuff, I couldn't help but get more and more interested as the story evolved and the plot developed. It was a very interesting movie - if you haven't watched, you may want to take a look at it
Oh yeah - no me pude dormir till almost a.m. pero ahorita si que I would fall dormido in no time! All I need is a pillow and I'd be set!

Based on a true story, student activist and Mexican-American Paula Crisostomo (Vega), tired of being treated unequally, decides to take action and stage a walkout at five East Los Angeles high schools in 1968, to protest educational conditions and complain of anti-Mexican educational bias along with some 10,000 students. Paula Crisostomo (now Romo) is not Mexican- American--she is Filipina-American. She and her husband, then boyfriend were roommates of mine in college. We are very good friends and I see her often.
