LMAO yes they made a comeback!!!  OH Man those things are UGLY!!  It's strange because everyone wears them even the ladies.  Not to go out but like to chill out or whatever.  When my s.i.l and I got there we were like EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW those things are so gross I would never ever ever wear them.  Well that went out the window the day of this huge storm and the streets were flooded for days....we each bought a pair to not ruin our shoes.  They are the most comfy things EVER!!!!!!  Ugly as hell but comfybiggrin

Men at your age in Argentina don't party anymore because the walkers make it look a little silly.biggrin

Women my age in Argentina still go out that was not the reason they thought we were strange.  They thought we were strange because we smoked, drank and went out without our husbands - tisk tisk.

Humm his mom's cooking is wicked so it's almost impossible for me to top it.

There are things he has learned to like being married to me like cilantro - yum.  His mom is actually Chilena so it's not been that hard and some of her dishes I knew how to make b4 we met.  The Argentino stuff is pretty easy since they eat meat like a million times a week.hmm

EGGGGGGGS-ACT-LY!

I dont mind when she sends food over, its always jummy jummy so it works out well nod.gif

And obviously people will always perfere the familiar, its what theyve grown up with.. you cant blame him for that.  He just has to learn that not all things will taste the same, and be open to trying new things and flavours.

Good question. I'm very competitive by nature, but I've learned to realize that his mom's cooking and mine are completely different. I'm very experimental and he's been smart enough to stop saying "but my mom makes it this way." We had some issues in the past about this, but now we're way past it. Like I said, my cooking is so different from hers, and I'm the one who feeds him 98% of the time, so he had to get used to mine. Plus, I love it when I eat other people's food. aww

LOL @ my mom makes it this way.........im guilty of sayin that b4 too, haha!

You wouldn't try and be his mom but if the guy has a favorite dish that he really really likes, then why not learn how to do it???  With enough practice you might get it.

Why does he need to eat it only at his mom's house or try and buy it???

My mom is an amazing cook but I think sometimes she is more amazed when I cook.  She has actually learnt a couple of things from me!  That makes me feel great because she actually copies me :)

Wow nop.. I will never compete with his mom... she has been cooking for him forever, I only started a month ago jajajajaj... I know my food will never be as good as his mom's or my mom's but I try my best...

Anyway if either of the moms send food our way is definatelly welcome, we love food and we both hate cooking LOL.

Pfff HA! i'd never even come close to his mom's cooking, i've borrowed some of her tricks yes, but cook my own way, my own recetas. Why would i want to cook JUST like his mom? He didn't marry his mom . If she cooks and sends it over to my place heck! i'm all for it. Cooking is not my favorite past time so shrug.gif..But i love her very much.

Ladies.....The answer is to spend time w/ his mom and learn how to cook.

Why compete or be jealous, in the end these women will just be ignored anyways.  That is what my mom does.  In fact, the more the chick gets upset, the more she gives my brother food to take home lolchew.gif
