Of course Fito is at a higher level of fame. But remember...I'm a musician...I do this for the love of the art NOT for fame. Ask ANYBODY.....once it gets down to it, I can say I've kept my dignity through all my "local gigs at bars or clubs". Ask their camp id they've been honest with their own talent. Stepping on toes is and ideal way to make it to the top......but I'd rather keep my dignity.
But if you wanna know, I've helped produce a record that went Gold in Canada..PLUS sang on the disc...PLUS recorded an instrument on the disc....PLUS did some arrangements in the disc.....no it wasn't my album...it was a compilation. Plus I've sung on educational discs that sold by the thousands in here and the States.

Chilenita based her opinion on her taste of music and you have also.

Fito and I are in different worlds of music. His cause it to make it BIG...mine ain't. He's there to promote himself, I'm here to promote LIVE music and build awareness to our musicians that always get treated like s h i t for their "local status". You say that local musicians suck.....maybe they do....but let me tell you they don't. Our musicians have no real venue or reason to practise at all. For what?? So that a festival like Toni Reyes or TLN can come across and ask them to work hard, bring a quality performance...then in the end get paid pocket change.

Get one of your promoter friends to impress us with a venue and a REAL event and you'll get musicians that would flock there and give a quality show AT par with any New York or American artist/musician counterpart.

I am not saying he has no talent. I have nothing against the guy in fact after talking to him on Sat I would say he is actually really nice. I know it's not easy to rap on a mic and have a nice flow but I don't really think he has a nice flow. He isn't that great live. I think Ricky is 100 times more talented in a bunch of different ways.

ricky franco its ok .. but from the vocal point of view ricky franco can actually sing ... Have you noticed how different the voice of a reggaeton artist sounds live compare to the one in the cd?.. and this also applies for hiphop .. this is what i hate about reggaeton live performances .. why is it that they sound so different from the cd. I understand that they can t sound the same , but sometimes they are just bad !!.. I been to a few concerts and to tell you the true it seems like kareoke night..
it makes you wonder if they can really sing or is all about the computer.. I been to salsa concerts , rock concerts , and the artists do sound amazing most of the time , and you feel that its worth paying your money to go see these artist.

Nah don't get it twisted. It's not about the fact that he liked the concert of course he can have his own opinion there is just no need to be rude.

Anyways they used to bring different groups that would appeal to different audiences like you said and that is why it used to be so much better.

he gave a concert last saturday in Montréal and I think that was the worst reggaeton show I have ever seen. This guy doesn't know who to entertaint the crowd....he and his wacky crew (dancers) were only there to do their 'show off'...get their money and right away got of the stage in half a second.....Sure he's got talent pero what a 'wannabe'. He must be a reggaeton version of Britney Spears as simple as that. At the end of the show, a lot of people just Boooooooooooo them. Otra, otra, otra......claro que no!

The venue was in the middle of the gay village....do the promoter really think all reggaeton fan would have gone their and pay 47$ to see Arcangel.
