Funny... I was just thinking about this two days ago when I went to Bayer. Bayer was among the top financiers of the Third Reich and their human experiments in the concentration camps. They considered human experimentation an example of progress and well they were kinda right. I mean, a lot of what we know today about the body's ailments/aberrations comes from Nazi research.
I just read about a "study" of untreated syphilis in black males. The participants were not informed of their diagnosis but instead were told they were being treated for bad blood. Anyway, yadda, yadda, yadda... The point is: human experimentation is the backbone of medicine.
Humans HAVE, ARE and WILL continue TO BE used as guinea pigs. Of course these practices take place but it's unlikely that we will know about most of them as they are happening. Actually, we do know of many that take place, some of us might even be consenting adults willing to be a "lab humans" in exchange for "easy" cash. Clinical trials, anyone?
I like this idea instead of the death penalty!!! Treat all those child killers/rapists like rats!!!!!!

Yes, I totally believe stuff like this goes down. Trust me, there are tons of things that go on in this world that we cant even begin to imagine. When left to their own devices, man is capable of doing the most horrific acts.

Do you guys think that there is a such thing as Lab Humans? Humans that are used for scientific experiments. I know they have lab rat's and they also have programs where people get paid for medical experiments, but asides from that do you think scientists do anything shady like that? I mean experimenting on humans would be more accurate than rat's so I wouldn't be surprised if they did somewhere in the world. Kinda creepy when you think of it. Don't know what my mind is thinking of, but I decided to start a thread about this and see what you think.
