I disagree. I think they played very well as a team, not to mention individually. They possessed the ball, virtually, all the time I also think you under-estimate the states, although not a power house, they are not a team to be taken for granted. They were excellent markers in the midfield and in their own zone I think Argentina did as much as a tem could possibly do, against a team that came into the field with a scheme that was nothing but to prevent a goleada And it was 4-1 what did you expect? Its not basketball!
Yeah the states has TONS of energy but they are still not half as good as Argentina. You are right about the States playing totally 100% deffence....they didn't even try to score goals. I still think Argentina can do better....much better.
