So, i'm wondering...why does she want a 'waitress' job? Why not an office job?
I think that on a "per hour" basis she, or anyone (specially if looking for part time) would probably make more money waitressing than in a junior office position, specially if she' hot. Which no one has answered yet

I always wanted to work as a waitress. I why. I hear tips are good, but you have to be good to get good tips. I know this guy whose father paid off his house in a few years with tips alone. Now they live in a mansion in Pickering, which is probably paid off by now as well.
Is any of the regulars a waitress/er or have you ever been?
I've never been, but my ex was. Full time She'd pocket a clean grand a week, easy 3/4 of that in cash
yup Dogo is right, I used to work in a Hotel part-time, i put my self through colleged and payed rent at the same time..........an i was making nothing compared to the full time people. the only bad thing about workin in a restaurant is how busy/stressful it can get and also down time.
@MJ tell ur friend to look in hotels, right now is busy time for them.

Remember the old condo where u lived where i trained! well the restaurant that just went up there right accross from the Skydome its open tell her to go in and ask for the Owner Tom that genie sent her she will get a job no problems! ill even tell Tom give me her name or ask her to forward me the resume and ill pass it on hes always looking to hire new staff!!
Btw, is your friend is good @ what she does ? Service wise of course. Because if so, send her to Symposium in Ginotown...omg, the place is really nice but service sucks big time
