 Ultimo Adiós y sepelio Anthony V.

El pasado sábado tubo lugar en la funeraria Scott the Weston Rd. el sepelio de el conocido cantante Anthony Villalona. Fotos y comentarios a continuacion.

uenEl pasado sábado nos dimos cita muchos de los dominicanos residentes en Toronto y que de algún u otro modo conocimos el gran cantante dominicano, Anthony V merenguero de esta ciudad.


Img_2796_2 Cuando llegamos a la funeraria notamos un ambiente cargado de tristeza por la pérdida de este ser tan querido, pudimos hablar un poco con su ex esposa y sus dos hijos, Mientras el sepelio se llevaba a cabo hasta las 8:00 de la noche se transmitía simultáneamente en el programa de keiter feliz entrevistas y comentarios de todas las personas que querían expresar sus vivencias y testimonios relacionados con Anthony a los radio escuchas.

Desde la funeraria pudimos lograr una entrevista con la hija mayor, presente la cual fue transmitida al aire.

El día martes según nos informan será transportado los restos de Anthony V. hacia la República Dominicana.

A pesar de la recolecta la cual fue promovida fuertemente por los medios de comunicación local de más influencia en nuestra gente Dominicana, no se logro recaudar una suma razonable.  Pero gracias a la bondad de la familia Marte quienes han costeado la mayor parte del proceso incluyendo la mayor parte de los gastos de transportación (7,500 dólares) Anthony V. llegara hoy o mañana donde recibirá santa sepultura y podrá ser visto por su madre por última vez.

I AM JUST SURPRISED TO SEE THAT TORONTO HISPANO NEVER PUBLISHED ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I WONDER WHY THEY NEVER TRIED TO GET THE INFORMATION OUT HE WAS STILL A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY AND THEY NEVER EVEN SAID A WORD ABOUT IT.

Que en paz descanse.  I remember when he first came on the scene.  I was at quite a few events where he was performing.  May God bless his family and give them the strenght they need to get ahead in life.

My very first gig with a full band was with Anthony V. at Fregatta a billion years ago. I have fond memories of those time. I could never understand what the heck Anthony would say....He was the fastest speaking Dominican that I knew.....and that's saying something! lol

I saw him I few months ago at a mall....but I don't think he recognized me....so I didn't approach him. I sort of regret it now.

OMG.This is sad news. I spoke to a good friend of his not too long ago and he told me that Anthony was very ill. Anthony was a cool person, me and my cousins have some fun memories of him.

Is his body here Toronto? Cause in Alex's post he mentions " el gobierno no ayudara porque solo ayudan si lo entierran aquí. "

According to the information that has been Summit it to our website bye one of the friends took care of him for the last year that he developed a problem that affect his liver which he deal for a couple years, he was pretty much left along no many friends visiting and he only had a daughter and a Ex wife.  Some people said he did not want to go back home so his mother dont see him sick.

        OMG WOW HOW SAD!!! He sang at my mothers 39th birthday a while back and omg he was such an amazing person, My mother knew him well! and what a shock cuz he was so young (well no joven pero no viejo) OMG thats crazy news im still in shock!
