My favorite memory was when we used to throw rocks at a HUGE mango tree in front of our house. Of course, to bring the mangos down. Those were the best green and super tiernitos mangos ever!

(got in so much trouble that day) but man did i have fun! and Horse back riding i had my own horesy que my grandpa gave me! oh man i loved it back home!! but oh well now were stuck in this cold country where you dont even know ur neighbour and u live in doors most of the year! oh well!!

Yes, the mango trees! There was a big one in one of the houses we lived in and I was always up there... I ate tons and tons of mangos that year. My sister had a crush on our next door neighbour, who smoked and planted pot. He looked like Jesus and I was terrified of him, 'cause he was always high. I used to see him and his friends smoking the good herb from the top of the tree.
My other good memory is the music. There was always music in my house. My brothers and sisters all played guitar and music was ever-present at home. Holy trip down memory lane,

I have so many. Even though we were very poor, we had a very happy childhood. My brother, sister and I were always playing outside, all sorts of games, with a bunch of friends. We used to hold talent shows and we were always singing. I remember playing outside in the rain, jumping on the bed, running. We met soooo many people 'cause we were always moving. And playing with a tea set. That was my favourite game. Ah! The memories...
I think most are vacations. Camping, fishing, etc A couple that stand out (as a teenager)are, one, when I was about 13, renting ATVs with my cousin (they were the 3wheeled type back then) and just riding the dunes. At one point we rode up this dune, when we went over it, this gigantic flock of seagulls was just sitting there, on the sand So of course we rode through it with a cloud of seagulls going over us
Another was when I was about 15 riding on a bus through Patagonia, and the bus broke down at like 3 in the morning we got out of the bus, started a fire (cause we were freezing our asses off) and I got to see a full moon set on a completely unobstructed horizon. I would've never imagined what that looked like. But If you can imagine a giant (much bigger than the sun) red/orange sun setting in a night sky, that's what it looks like Another one was riding horses in a deserted beach when I was about 16 (Ohhh I loved that!!)

AWWW!!! fishing is definitely up there... so is camping! I loved camping as a kid and I started taking my kids now.
I think my fondest memory as a child was so simple but to this day it warms my heart. My grandmother used to live with us when we were younger and everyday after school she'd have a freshly made tortilla ready for me with sour cream 'cause that's the way I liked to eat it.
Waking up at 5 in the morning to go fishing. Then falling asleep in the car on the way there.
For the life of me, I could never figure out why my dad would drag me out of bed SO early!!!! It was totally worth it, after!!!
By the afternoon, I'd tan on the dock with one hand still on the rod!!!
Do you know any good fishing spots?
The theory I was taught was that was when fish were hungry... breakfast?
Fishing spots? Not anymore
We used to go up north to fish. But we also tried Orillia, Peterborough and other places out that direction as well.
Well I'll be damned. That's what my dad said. He said it's cool on the surface so they're there and in the afternoon, the sun makes it hot so they go to the bottom and sleep.
Hell, I don't know.
We used to go to Campbellville (sp?). Pretty nice and quiet.
I once caught a frog.
My dad ran over and yelled, "This is great bait!" and swung out my rod again!!!!
My last image is of this froggie spread eagle in mid-air as he crashes into the water.
I have so many beautiful memories, growing up in Guaadalajara was the best.... But I remember one really could thing my dad did for me....
In Mexico we had a big house and the floor was (azulejos) not sure what you call them in English but they are very slippery. Anyway everyday I would run from one side to the next to slide on the floor, it was really fun cause my sister and I were always pushing each other to slide on the floor from one side to the other. One day I told my dad I wish I could put water and soap on all the floor that way I could run and slide for longer by myself.....
One morning I woke up cause there was so much noise so as soon as I got up I felt the floor was wet.... I look up and my dad its looking at me and saids, you wish is my comand, I looked at the floor in the whole house and it was cover with soap and water bubbles everywhere...... My siter, my dad and I played all morning..... it was the best day in my childhood.... It was the best.....
Anyway when my mom got back from work, she played with us for a little bit and then made us clean evertything up..... It was so worth it....
I was the happiest child growing up!!!!! Why did I have to move to CANDA . i miss my dad..... why do parents divorce that shiat sucks for us......

Anyone have any nice memories as a kid? One that strongly comes to mind? Makes you feel all "AAAWWWW.........." and all that good stuff???
As per foro rules, I remember riding around on my bike with an umbrella down my back thinking I was She-Ra.
When my parents would call me to come in, I'd pull out my umbrella, and scream "BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL, I AM SHE-RA!!!!!!!!!"
and my dad would say, "Young lady!"
and I'd run in.
Best on to this day was all of our trips to el salvador by car! oh man so many memories! i loved it or going to calif our last family vacation before my parents announced the divorce! still rocked grand canyon vegas and disney land all in one trip!!
i had an amazing childhood and that i will tell everyone!
