Anyway... thx Guada for mentioning Brave New World. Reproductive technology and biological engineering? Sounds very, very interesting - not very far fetched nowadays either. I'm gonna get my hands on it.
I did but she banned him too!
Anyway, I wrote it ALL and ALL of you are whining and sobbing now!!!!!!!
Now correct me if I'm wrong, was "Brave New World" the book that had a colour system for everyone?

I not a huge Sci-Fi reader so I haven't read any of Phillip Dick's books. I did, however, see Minority Report. I, too, think that Sci-Fi is better seen than read but that's just me

I did watch Minority Report, and i liked it. Maybe SF is better and much more appreciated when watched rather than read?
Quisas, quisas, quisas.
In the case of this writer his hardcore fans think the movie directors didn't get him. I assume the books are better, but I would think sci fi is hard to imagine.

I watched a show about this writer, Philip K Dick and his work looks really interesting-- although Science Fiction is not my cup of tea... well, actually, I don't think I've ever read any. Anyway, it looks interesting. Several movies have been made based on his books and short stories (Blade Runner, Minority Report, Total Recall, Scanner Darkly).
