But what if the embassy person is a woman??? She'll be pi$$ed you called her Mr.

I'd say call el centro de habla hispana and ask. I'm having them write an invitation letter for me this week. They do the whole thing and I just have to go and sign it. Call them. They'll be able to help you better than these foro clowns can.

To the people being invited or do i adress it to the embassy...

To mister mister:
ie.  Dear mister mister, please come to canada. I make nice soup for you. Come visit. You will fun.  I like to snow here. Please come.


or to the embassy:
ie. Dear mister embassy man, please let my little friend Pedro come to visit me in jail, ummm I mean my home. I am lonley and my new pet monkey no longer likes me.  Please let him come. Thank you.

It's addressed to whoever you're inviting.
