I absolutely hate when mass emails are sent out and i'm not on the CC: but the flipping main! Specially more so when i have absolutely nothing to with it or i've already done it! UGH!
Don't worry MJ, you will get the opportunity to mass email and make her look the way she did you. Then all you have to say is 'ooops, didn't think you'd get your work done so fast. '
Julie, i can relate to your situation, cuz there is a valley speaking girl here whom i can hear from 3 cubicles away! And when she gets personal about her life, she goes all the way!

Actually, I've been kind of yelling over the cubicules over that past few weeks "to much info" "I don't care" "that was just wrong" "I don't need to know that much"
And every one esle seems to hear me pretty fine except her. So yesterday, I go up and went to her desk will she was on the phone with her B. call and said "there are some things I don't need to hear and these are some of them" and she looked @ me ith the most stupid smle I've ever seen.
But of course she keept going and going so I sent her that :
Please I really don't need to hear and find out about your private life everyday over the phone. I can assure you that I can hear EVERYTHING. It would be greatly appreciated if you could keep it a bit lower
Personally I don't think it was rude. I worded it that way bc if necessary, I will go to my manager. That situation has been going on for at least 4 months. And now I am really fed up.

Her and I got an e-mail from the head honcho of the company to book a meeting with a third party for our bosses. Which meant, I should book a meeting with MY boss and she should book a meeting with HER boss. So I called at exactly 9am and left a message. At 9:15, super woman over here sends out a mass e-mail telling EVERYONE (including my boss).......ah screw it.........I'm just going to copy and paste it:
"Good morning:
I have called and left a message for (3rd party) to determine his schedule.
Once a time and date has been determined that is suitable for all parties, I will send a meeting request for RL (who is MY boss) and JB (who is HER boss).

So she just made me look like I've done NOTHING and is wanting praise from everyone! So I told her, "Next time you send an e-mail out like that, I suggest you talk to me first. First of all, I've already called so-and-so. Secondly, YOU don't know my boss' schedule. Thirdly, you are NOT my boss' assistant. Work on arranging YOUR boss' meetings first."
Anyway, I don't know how to salvage myself since she just made herself look like the best admin. asst. ever!!!! I can only imagine what my boss is thinking right now.

MJ, I don't know if your Genius # 3 is not related the one of this woman n the office.
I finally sent her an e-mail yesterday let her know that it would be more than highly appriciated if she would be able to keep her Lavalife never ending phone conversation down the low.
I am not the only one that are being more than sick and tired to hear, not listening, her giggleling/flirty, etc.... connverstation with men, which some of them she never met but have extremely long phone conversations and give them all sort of details (children's name included).
When I say long, I am talking about hours ! Ohhh and did I mention that she is that tinny tinny close to be able to call it sex over the phone @ the work place ??? she gets on my nerves like you have no idea and my collegues too. we actually don't call her by her name anymore, we mention her as "lavalife"

Anyone have co-workers where you really question how they got hired? In a matter of 2 hours, I've managed to discover three of them.
Genius #1:
I have to send out a list to numerous people at 9am and 3pm, detailing those that have called in sick for their morning shift and afternoon shift. The evening shift is on their own.
When I came in this morning, genius #1 decided to look intelligent and responded like so, "MJ, this person's name is not on the list and yet you don't have him listed. Please explain why." to which I responded, "I sent out the list at 3pm. He called in sick at 6:15pm. I leave at 5pm. Thank you."
Genius #2:
E-mail from me: Hi, can you please provide me with an emergency contact name for Jane Doe?
Response: Please put down Jane Doe.
Genius #3: Happens to be Miss Psycho but that story is just complicated.
Today is just one of those days.
