I went last year and it was really good (or maybe it was the "special" banana bread), I can't remember how much I paid for the tickets, but I didn't buy the 2-day pass, I just went one day.
I'll try to go again, it's a cool event....I'd like to see Bjork.
If this is once again sponsored by bacardi I am so going...last summer the bacardi tent with DJ Lil' Louie Vega of MAW (India's ex for those who like chismes) was the place to be! mmmmm bacardi breeeeezers.
@ MM: Relax... I don't even wanna go. We've seen Billy and I don't care much for the Pumpkins anymore. If it were back in the day HELLZ YEAH but now they're just whatever to me. As for the Killers... meh.

So... it's been... what, like a year that I've had this signature? Did anyone get that it says: I hear, I see, I learn? :(

Anyway, thanks for the info, I was looking for it this morning
Silence! I like The Killers and you forget you once paid like 80 bucks to go see them (when they were nobodies) and that guy with the ukulele.
@MM: You're welcome.

Ok fine... I'll pay $125 for the ukulele guy but NOT the Killers.

Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers, Bjork Among Acts At Virgin Music Fest In Toronto
Friday March 16, 2007
It's been seven years since the Smashing Pumpkins graced a Canadian stage, and their return will be right here in Toronto.
The popular '90s band, which announced plans to reunite last year following a split in November of 2000, will head line the Virgin Festival in Toronto this September.
Other acts already confirmed for the Sept. 8-9 event on Toronto Island include Bjork, the Killers, Interpol, Canadian indie band Tokyo Police Club and Brit chanteuse Amy Winehouse.
Virgin chief Richard Branson started the music festival in England more than a decade ago, and it's been a major success there.
Last year it expanded to North America with shows in Toronto and Baltimore, and in 2007 another one is planned for Vancouver on May 20 and 21. Among the artists slated to perform there: My Chemical Romance, the Killers and Metric.
Two-day tickets for the Toronto festival go on sale on March 24, and will cost $125 (including sales taxes) plus $1.00 for the Virgin Unite charity and $12 for the ferry to and from Toronto Island.
Day One headliners:
Bjork Interpol Paolo Nutini Amy Winehouse
Day Two headliners:
Smashing Pumpkins The Killers Tokyo Police Club Jamie T.
